Green + Pink for Earth Day

Sigg Bottles

Unfortunately, when many people think of Earth Day they think of weird hippies or annoying health teachers that tell you to be more eco-friendly. Well, at least that’s what I used to think of. But Earth Day isn’t that way at all - it can be a day filled with gardening, planting herbs for cooking, and shopping for more eco-friendly items like the ones listed above. There are tons of ways to help save the planet without completely jacking your style. It’s totally cool to be green, especially if you splash some pink in there. Am I right, or am I right?

{one} This Sigg water bottle is the perfect way to make a difference, because you won’t be wasting any plastic and when you enter an activation code, one square meter of rainforest will be preserved in your name. This Cuipo bottle features the SIGG New Active Top, which I love. It has a straw, but it's not like any other's I've used -- and it won't spill. Perfect for throwing in a bag with no worries about leaking!

{two} RGB nail polish is five free - meaning it contains no Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde Resin, or Camphor. This nail polish is good for you and good for the planet! The best part is that it comes in tons and tons of super cute colors for every season.

{three} The Lilly Pulitzer tote bag is not only super cute, but next time you go to the grocery store (or any store, for that matter) just whip out this bag and you’ll be saving the planet by reducing the amount of plastic. Cute, functional, and practical - winner winner, chicken dinner.

{four} If you don’t live under a rock, then you’ve heard of Tom’s Shoes. This wedge style is one of the newest styles and it happens to be ridiculously comfortable! Buy a pair of shoes and you're giving a pair of shoes to a child in need. What could be more fitting for Earth Day?

Hope you are celebrating in a fun way to help the environment. In all seriousness, it's a fantastic day to think about and do all we can to help save the planet and learn more about what we are doing right and what we can do better!
