Keeping it Simple

My style is simple. I’m talking anything with any pattern is “loud” in my book. I absolutely love bold looks on other people, but I just don’t feel as though I can pull them off.little black dress LBD target shoes and J Crew dress

Although, I did experiment with patterns & layering here. That being said, this LBD {little black dress} is one of my favorite dresses that I own. It fits like a glove, it shows off my collar bones (my favorite part of my body, hehe), and it can easily be accessorized! I think it’s important that every girl own at least one dress that she can just throw on and feel totally confident in – and this, my friends, is that dress for me. I’ve worn this little black dress to many events and interviews, and I feel like I can make it “new” each time I wear it. All I have to do is change up my accessories, shoes, and maybe add a sweater and I’m good to go.

p.s. please excuse my paleness in these pictures, I’d like to think that I have a little bit more color on my skin now ;)

Do you have a dress that you can just throw on and rock? Is it an LBD
or another style & where is it from?

Thanks for reading!

  2. First of all, you look so pretty.

My throw on dress isn’t black but gray and I love the way it makes me look and feel. It’s simple and elegant and I can dress it up or down. And you aren’t pale, your skin looks lovely.

  4. That’s the best part about a LBD, you never have to wear it the same way twice! Love your pop of color!

  22. This is an absolutely stunning outfit. I love the simplicity of it. And the red belt and wedges are such an awesome pop of color! xo

  23. You are beautiful and this style is perfect for you. It is ok to experiment (especially at your age) but we don’t need to wear e.g. pattern mix which is very popular but not my cup of tea if we feel more comfortable in a monochrome style.

I feel most comfortable in dresses, especially wrap dresses and certainly LBDs too.
